//30a Wedding Photographer | Rosemary Beach Wedding// Sex and the City, Hava Nagila, the Pearl and Rosemary Beach… Those things (and places) have something in common! Last weekend, a beautiful couple got married at Rosemary Beach! Rachel and Clint had an amazingly fun party at the Pearl, dancing the night away and picking people up in the chair with the Ascension Band singing Hava Nagila! From ring bearer’s dabs, to glow sticks party to yummy foods and stunning and delicious cake! Oh and what about Sex and the City, you’d ask? Well you’ll have to scroll down and see (hint – it’s blue and has a bling on it!). We absolutely loved being a part of this celebration! Cheers!

Trivia time: Did you know where one of the most famous Jewish wedding traditions of breaking the glass came from? I didn’t know, so I googled! Ha! Basically, they say the origin is unknown but here are two ideas. The primary reason is that joy must always be tempered. This is based on two accounts in the Talmud of rabbis who, upon seeing that their son’s wedding celebration was getting out of hand, broke a vessel – in the second case a glass – to calm things down. Another explanation is that it is a reminder that despite the joy, Jews still mourn the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. Wikipedia for the win!
